    The 2018 Botswana National Relationship Study revealed that thirty-seven (37%) percent of women and twenty-one (21%) percent of men reported experiencing some form of Gender Based Violence (GBV) be it emotional, physical and sexual at least once in their lifetime.

      We work tirelessly to ensure that all members of the community have equal and dignified access to sexual and reproductive health services, particularly the youth, LGBTI+,PWD, women, girls and other marginalized groups
      We strive to end the cycle of violence and abuse now, particularly against women and girls in their diversity in an effort to cultivate peaceful communities that uphold gender equality for all .
      We work relentlessly to ensure that all members of the community have equal access to TB and HIV services.

      Established in 2002, the Botswana Network on Ethics, Law and HIV/AIDS (BONELA) is a not for profit, non-governmental organisation, registered under the Societies Act as a health and human rights organization whose vision is to ‘Make the Right to Health a Reality in Botswana’. BONELA’s mission is to ensure promotion, protection and fulfilment of the right to health. BONELA works to promote health and well-being of key and vulnerable groups-Children, Women, Migrant workers, LGBTI community; Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), Female Sex Workers (FSW), Adolescents, People Living with HIV (PLWHIV), People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) and Prisoners. The aim of BONELA’s interventions is to address structural barriers which hinders access to health services by key and vulnerable groups.
